Funding for Customized Employment Projects Continue in Wisconsin

Detailed Article Under Construction
The Model Communities Project, funded by the Wisconsin Medicaid Infrastructure Grant through the Department of Health Services is looking for innovative ideas on how to make their community more welcoming and inclusive of all people, including people with disabilities. The goal of the Model Communities Project is to discover promising approaches to include people with disabilities more fully and naturally in school, work and community activities. When all people in the community are included, relationships are built that lead to a better quality of life. If you, or someone you know, has a passion for seeing people with disabilities included in your community, has an idea for how to make that happen and knows your community well, please apply.                                                                                                                                For more information Click Here or contact:                                                                 Jennifer Neugart, Outreach Specialist                                                                           University of Wisconsin-Madison, Waisman Center                                                   Department of Health Services, Pathways to Independence Projects                                       1 West Wilson Street, Room 437                                                                               Madison, Wisconsin 53703
